I’m so glad to have a passion project go live to the public today: the first outerwear line from Thirst Apparel, my brother’s company.

Thirst is a new apparel brand designed for the lifestyle of young social adventurers. Its founder is Sam Winslow, a young entrepreneur with a degree in business and economics. His interests include travel, photography, and sports, all of which influenced the outerwear designs of Thirst’s premier line.

Launching a Kickstarter campaign on May 5, Thirst debuted with a line of windbreakers in two colors, pure white and neon multicolor fruit punch. The Thirst Windbreaker offers style matched with performance. The windbreakers are made with thoughtfully selected fabric and hardware, to be water-resistant, breathable, and ideal for layering. With an emphasis on durability, the windbreaker is intended to serve the customer in the many scenarios of normal life: going to class or work, traveling, heading to an outdoor concert.

Thirst has also benefited from the creative contributions from a strong and diverse group of industry experts, advisers, and the supportive network of entrepreneurs in the Boston area. With Sam’s strategic vision and a product that balances performance with style, Thirst intends to make its mark on the apparel choices of young social adventurers.

It was a wonderful project to contribute to, and I love the way our press kit turned out.
